Caring for your Wyldstock candle
We create each candle with soul, intention and safe ingredients for you, your animals and the planet. To extend the life of your candle and ensure a safe and clean burn, here are some essential tips:
ON FIRST USE
When you light your candle for the first time, let it burn for at least 2 hours, until the top layer of wax has completely melted.
This prevents tunneling and helps the wax burn evenly.
BEFORE EACH USE
ALWAYS cut the black tip of the wick (the one that sometimes looks like a small mushroom), leaving it about 3 mm long.
This ensures a clean burn, prevents soot and helps the candle last longer.
You can use a wick trimmer or even your fingertips, scissors or nail clippers.
SAFETY AND CARE
– Never leave the candle lit for more than 4 hours at a time.
– Do not leave it unattended, nor near flammable objects, drafts or heat sources.
– Keep out of reach of children and pets.
– When there is about 1.5 cm of wax left at the bottom, stop using it to avoid overheating the cup.
REUSE YOUR CUP
After you finish the candle, remove any excess wax with hot, soapy water.
Gives new life to the glass.
